Juicing without a blender or juicer

Late Night TV actually taught me something!

Recently I was up VERY VERY VERY late and I watched a 1 hour presentation on the benefits of juicing.  My biggest challenge with juicing is… my laziness.  In theory I understand the value of the nutrients in the juice, and I KNOW that you can’t taste the spinach (I can’t say the same for the kale) but it goes back to laziness.

Lazy?  OK.  throwing a bunch of stuff in the blender and zipping it up, then drinking it down doesn’t sound that time consuming… let’s say, 5 – 7 minutes, between getting just the right consistency and taste.  HOWEVER, then there’s the clean up, everything needs to be put away, and your blender needs to be cleaned and stowed.

I suppose it’s a matter of priority.  IF it were important enough to me, I’d put the time aside.

I can find an alternative that doesn’t require ANYTHING but me shaking a container, and pouring the liquid in my glass, then putting the glass in the dishwasher.  (I did tell you I was lazy)

Enter Organifi into my dreams and kitchen. Here’s the ad I saw online that just about floored me.  I mean, I was literally just thinking… HOW CAN I GET THE BENEFITS OF A JUICER WITHOUT… Well I think you know where I’m going.

You see…

The benefits of eating vegetables is not debatable, my ability to make myself make the right choices… is.  There are a LOT of things that I put before eating properly on my daily list of priorities and it’s nice to find a product that makes it easier.

Being the smart shopper that I am, I checked out AMAZON and was pleasantly surprised to see that there were a SLEW of very positive reviews.  (As you know, Amazon is the worlds largest online shopping search engine, and as you probably also know most people are more likely to take the time to leave a comment if it’s a bad product than good… so… these good reviews are saying a lot)

So, it’s not like buying bottled prejuiced stuff, (which can be very expensive and doesn’t have a very long shelf life) this is more like a powder you use to turn regular every day stuff into POWER DRINK.   You can mix it up and drink it… without having to blend and clean up all that mess PLUS… it’s faster!

4 Thoughts to “Juicing without a blender or juicer”

  1. I love the idea of Organifi.I love the thought of being able to make a smoothie every morning but it’s too time consuming for me, cutting up the fruit, blending it and then thinking that you’ve lost some of the goodness from the blending process. Thats why I think this product is great and as a runner I would see the benefits very quickly.I love the fact that the product has many benefits to the drinker like it re-hydrates and revitalizes you and helps with onset of sleep. This may be a product I will try very soon. Thanks for the great article.

  2. Excellent information! As a health coach, I’m always on the lookout for interesting and EASY things my clients can do to get to better health! Busy people don’t want to clean their juicers or don’t have time to mess with fruits and vegetables, especially guys. What is your favorite that your recommend?

  3. Hmmm…
Do you PROMISE that stuff tastes good? It looks really, really HEALTHY! I wonder if it tastes good with a shot of Scotch.

OK, seriously now. This is NOT a rhetorical question. How many servings do I get for $57.95?

  4. I can definitely relate to this article as I have the same problem with laziness when it comes to preparation and cleanup. I think it’s great that there are now easy and quick options for juicing, as you have shared here! I am getting into juicing myself and think there are great benefits! Thanks for the article and the great info!
